About Higham Hill Muslim Community Trust

Higham Hill Muslim Community Trust (HHMCT) is a volunteer-led initiative that was formed in 2014 with the sole purpose of benefiting the local community. In the years that followed, the small team was able to partner with a local school to provide after school and weekend Islamic Classes (Maktab) as well as make use of their hall to provide Taraweeh, Eid, and Jummah prayers.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic spurred out volunteers into action to identify projects to benefit the community. As a result of sustained effort, our services now comprise the following:

• Taraweeh, Eid, Jumu’ah prayers
• Islamic Classes (Maktab)
• Community Funeral Service
• Monthly food packs for local families in need
• Monthly Youth Programmes
