Eid in the Park Walthamstow

HHMCT held its first ever Eid in the Park this year. It proved to be an amazing family experience despite the socially distanced nature of the entire event.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, mosques were unable to provide the usual space for people to pray their Eid salaah. HHMCT volunteers pulled out all the stops to organise this event for 400 men, women, and families with children at short notice which was fully booked within hours.

In response to the positive feedback received, we are hopeful that we can organise outdoor events again in the future, so if you missed out this time, keep a lookout for future posts!
