Pakistan Flood charity dinner

We recently held our first ever charity fundraiser, which was for the victims of the floods in Pakistan. We had an evening programme which consisted of Qiraat, a talk about thankfulness to Allah from a guest speaker, Salaah, fundraising, and we ended the evening with a 3 course meal which was sponsored by one of our supporters.

Through the generous support of everything who attended, as well as our friends and family who were unable to attend, we were able to raise over £10,000; Alhumdulillah! This could not have been achieved without the help of Allah, who gave tawfiq and the ability to donate to everyone who came.

We partnered with the One Ummah charity for this fundraiser who are doing some amazing work there in response to this crisis. Our wealth is a blessing from Allah and giving in charity doesn’t decrease one’s wealth.
